Hypoxylon hubeiense and Hypoxylon yunnanense (Xylariales, Xylariaceae) are described as new species from China. Morphological descriptions and photographs of stromata and microstructures are provided ba-sed on the Chinese material, and the delimitation of these species from similar taxa is discussed.
