Sydowia 66 (2): 229–239
A new species, Pluteus septocystidiatus, from the Republic of Korea and USA is described, based on morphological and molecular evidence. This new species is remarkable on account of its thick-walled multiseptate pleurocystidia. Its phylogenetic placement inferred from the ITS rDNA nucleotide sequence suggests a close relationship to P. albostipitatus of the salicinus/albostipitatus clade.
