Sydowia 67: 45–50
A new species, Marasmius fissuratus, is described from Northeast China. It is characterized by having a greyish orange areolate pileus, anastomosing and intervenose lamellae, a slender brown stipe, medium-sized basidiospores, 6–8 × 3–4.1 μm, clavate, pyriform to vesiculose cheilocystidia and a hymeniform pileipellis of broadly clavate to pyriform cells. A colour photograph of basidiomata and drawings of microscopic characters accompany the description. Marasmius fissuratus is compared with similar species and ITS data confirm that the proposed species differs from all others whose ITS sequences are available.
