Laboubeniales are understudied in Austria, where no more than 40 species have been recorded so far. In the present paper 14 new records from this country are reported, including the first record of Euhaplomyces ancyrophori Thaxter 1901 after its original description. Other new national records are reported from neighboring territories in Slovenia, Hungary and Italy. Three new species of Laboulbeniales are also described from the same region: Diphymyces oryoti, parasitic on Oryotus spp. (Coleoptera, Cholevidae); Rhachomyces insolitus, parasitic on Badister collaris (Coleoptera, Carabidae); and Stigmatomyces scaptodrosophilae, parasitic on Scaptodrosophila deflexa (Diptera, Drosophilidae). Laboulbenia sphodri Spegazzini 1914 is shown to be a junior synonym of the reinstated Laboulbenia gigantea Istvánffi 1895.
